Experienced executive an entrepreneur

I am a father of three young adults, entrpreneur, writer and board professional. We have also a cat and a dog at home. My professional background is in international ICT industry leadership, entrepreneurship, and board work. In my international management work I have learned to value different cultures and people from various backgrounds. By founding two companies, I have created a good number of jobs and contributed to Finland’s well-being. Within me resides a liberal humanist and a citizen deeply concerned about the development of our planet and our environment – as well as well-being of the people around the world. I have sought to promote these values and causes in my various roles.

I have also been somewhat active in societal and political matters. Finding a political party that fully aligns with my views has not been straightforward. Over the years, I have supported politicians from various parties. As a centrist liberal, I now feel that the Greens is closest to my values.

On the blog in these home pages, I discuss topics that I consider important and relevant.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about sustainable development, emphasizing the responsible use of our planet’s finite resources and the sustainable renewal of the Finnish business sector. I have also led a circular economy consulting firm. My lifelong connection with nature stems from my youth, which I spent involved in scouting and birdwatching.

In the field of culture, I have served for six years as the chairman of the board of the Kauniainen Music Festival and for 12 years as the leader of the book club I founded.
